Old Poem: Sitting Upright And Becoming A Buddha
Old Poem: "Sitting Upright And Becoming A Buddha"
The raindrops falling along the eaves
At the intersection of vegetation recovery
Play a clear spring morning song
On one page of an ancient book
One sits upright and becomes a Buddha
The sound of wind and rain outside
It's all natural music
Ten thousand white lotuses are out of the dark world of mud
All are the face of a fairy
Buddha's light comes from the south
A rainbow bridge shines in the clear sky
Swans and sparrows fly freely
By Vicha Viye/Weixia Weiye LL
Note: This poem was written about 4 years ago. The poem was inspired by pictures of Buddha in antique books, and the weather conditions at that time. In the poem, it is written "Buddha's light comes from the south", the "south" written here refers to South Asia (because of the distant history and culture, Buddha's light rises from here first), the basic purpose of Buddhist culture is to universalize all beings, the pursuit of a spiritual self-transcendence and It also has the concept of equality of all beings. "In Chinese, "Swan" means "powerful and noble class", "swallow bird" means ordinary people in Chinese. The ideal in this poem is to have an equal world, where people of all classes can live equally and freely, and can "fly" for their ideals. (1-21-2022)
Weixia Weiye /Vicha Viye LL
